Thursday, April 17, 2025 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s awake, lying on her left with Tom by her bedside.

• 8:30am Maureen went back to sleep.

• 9:00am Maureen sleeps soundly.

• 9:35am Maureen is awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• Maureen sounds phlegmy , coughed three times while in bed, suction pump used.

• 9:40am Blood pressure: 106/63, P72.

• 9:45am Joanna and I started the day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper using a damp washcloth and Cetaphil cleanser, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs, and also applied nystatin to visible labia and outer anal redness. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 10:15am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, whole grain waffle with blueberries jam, pear, and 8oz prune juice. Coughed twice, sneezed once.

• No Miralax administered

• 10:50am Saline and albuterol Neb treatment.

• 11:15am Oral care, eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 11:40am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting period. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

• 12:40pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living area.

• 12:55pm Lunch: Lentils soup, chicken salad, tomato, and 9oz sparkling water. Coughed four times.

• 1:40pm Oral care.

• Maureen’s been well alert the rest of the afternoon, drinking 9oz of lemon water in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting period. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied nystatin to labia and outer anal redness. Dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) and 3oz of ginger water.

• Total liquids ingested: 38oz
