Sunday, April 13 Daytime update

8:00 am- Maureen is awake, receiving water sips via swab . Tom said that she was 7:20 am and was awake since.
8:30 am- We raised the bed and in upright position we administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
8:40 am- We started the day. Maureen’s diaper was medium wet with a brown spot on it. The redness is visible, looks better than yesterday per Tom. We cleaned and changed Maureen. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum area, Cavilon cream on inner tights, applied Calazinc cream on the redness. We next washed Maureen’s upper body . The redness on the right arm- inner side of her elbow looks better. After cleaning we applied Calazinc. The red spot on her same arm is still visible. We dressed and transferred Maureen to the kitchen.
8:55 am- Maureen had 5 oz of lemon water.
9:00 am- Breakfast- omelette, 8 oz of prune juice, piece of a pear, 10 oz of water. Maureen coughed three times and was able to get some phlegm out. Suction machine was used.
9:45 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with apple sauce. We reclined Maureen’s chair down after.
9:50 am- Morning oral care.
9:55 am- Facial and hand care.
10:30 am- Maureen finished her 10 oz cup of water.
11:00 am- Maureen is resting in the chair. We keep her right hand down to keep the redness aired.
11:15 am- Deacon Andy came in for Sunday service.
11:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:40 am.
12:40 pm- Maureen’s rest break ended. Her diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. There was no signs of discharge. We dressed and transferred her to the kitchen.
12:50 pm- Lunch- Beef soup, shrimp salad, sweet potato wedges, 10 oz of coconut water. Maureen coughed twice, sneezed many times. We reclined the chair due to her leaning forward.
1:30 pm- Oral care.
1:40 pm- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.
2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:10 pm.
3:10 pm - Maureen’s rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.
3:30 pm- Maureen is enjoying Sister Roberta’s treatment.
4:00 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, apple and banana. She coughed twice, sneezed a few times.
5:00 pm- Maureen’s diaper is dry.
5:05 pm- Dinner- Orange chicken with rice. Maureen coughed twice. She had 5 oz of water.
5:50 pm- Administered 12.5 ml of Vimpat and 5 mg of Olanzapine with applesauce.
6:10 pm- Evening oral care.
6:30 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bathroom for the night. Her diaper was medium wet. Tom and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream and Calazinc to her redness, which looks much better. The redness on the inner side of her right elbow looks better too. We cleaned and applied Calazinc. Cleaned her face and applied Cetaphil lotion to the face, hands, legs and feet.
